Krystal Creek’s Visit From Aunt Flo

NAVHDA Utility 198 Prize I

Hips OFA Good

German Shorthaired Pointer

White & Liver, Patched & Ticked

Flo is a big dog in a little package (45 pounds)!  She is a firecracker in the field and loves to snuggle on the couch.  This dog possesses so much talent and it is pretty easy to talk her into using her talents in the right way!  She was so easy to teach duck searches to, just like her mother, Chloe.  After three times of working her at the duck search water she had it down and was doing prize 1 work.  She was not so cooperative as a puppy, she did great in every thing in her NA test, except swim!  It had nothing to do with love of water, it was her cooperation that needed improvement.  Our friend owns her and he really did a great job of working with this little dog, in their first UT test they earned a prize 1.  I am so excited about breeding her!  Our beloved Rock is her sire, she is out of his last straw of frozen semen.  Flo hunts in Northern Wisconsin, North Dakota and Iowa.

Natural Ability 110 Prize I

Hips Are OFA Good

German Shorthaired Pointer

Liver Patched & Roan

Ritter is a very well built, well mannered dog.  He is a great companion and a terrific hunting dog.  When he is not hunting or lounging on the couch, he is out with his owner helping to manage the farm.  I met this wonderful dog when he was a puppy preparing for the NA test.  I saw him work in the field once and knew that I had to have this dog in my line!  He and his owner, Dan, earned a UT Prize III this year and they both learned a lot this year!  Dan is hooked and is planning on giving the UT test another go.  Ritter learned a lot this year and is a young dog, his abilities are much greater than this years test scores reflect.

I am so excited for this breeding, both dogs go back to the dogs that we started our line with!  I cannot wait to see how this litter turns out.  I am guessing that it will be Great!
